Panvel: His Holiness Sadguru Shri Sai Narayan Baba, the founder seer of the Sri Bhagawati
Sai Sansthan’s Saibaba temple, here, has been bringing to life the stay of Shri Saibaba in Shirdi, by reading out his conversations with people, who were in Shirdi with Shri Saibaba, when the ‘Superman’ ‘Fakir’ lived in Shirdi at the only place in the world, which is very popularly referred to as both – a ‘Masjid’ and ‘Dwarakamai’. Shri Sai Narayan Baba has been conducting online satsangh daily from 7 p.m. to 8.30/9.00 p.m. from the day the lockdown was enforced.
Thousands of devotees of Shri Sai Narayan Baba across the country and the globe are known to be devotedly participating in this daily satsangh. Apart from the universal prayer penned by the Panvel seer’s Guru and father Shri Swami Karunananda, Sai Mahima authored by the seer himself through a divine inspiration, vedic mantra, thought for the day, answers by Swami Karunanada to spiritual querries by ardent Sai devotee John Nazarian of New York, U.S.A. and episodes in the life of Shri Saibaba, Shri Sai Narayan Baba reads out sections from his book ‘Sri Sai Sahasra Prashnavali’, every day, during the satsangh, which comprises of the conversations that he had with people in Shirdi, who had met and interacted with Shri Saibaba during His lifetime in Shirdi.
So far, Shri Sai Narayan Baba has read the personal conversations he had with Smt. Laxmibai Shinde, Balaji Pillaji Gurav, D.D.Neroy, Bappaji Laxman Ratnaparkhi, M.S. Dixit, Appasaheb Chopdar, Marthand Mhalsapathy, Nivritti Patil, N.P. Awasthy, Wamanrao P. Patel (Sai Sharanananda), Nana Saheb Rasne and Udhav Madhavrao Deshpande.
Several devotees expressed that listening to these conversations transported them to the era in Shirdi, when Saibaba physically lived there. Shri Sai Narayan Baba remarked that these rural folks were so truthful and devoted, which comes out clearly and loudly in these conversations, where they do not make any pretences or give populist answers, instead they truthfully admit ignorance wherever they were not present or in the know. For the Sai devotees, it is a unique feel of re-living the life in Shirdi with the venerable saint Shri Saibaba.
